BEAUTIFUL GALAPAGOS ISLANDS!

The Galapagos Islands are a bucket-list destination for good reason. Thanks to a lack of natural predators, friendly wildlife such as playful sea lions and gigantic sea tortoises let visitors get up close and personal. Each island boasts its own unique landscape, ranging from barren black, volcanic rocks to swaths of white sand beaches melting into gemstone-blue waters.

A 'blowhole', quite common on the islands.






The photographer tells that this male sea lion got aggressive
when he came too close, and put up a threatening display to
scare him off. It worked.









A land Iguana in yellow and red.




The marine iguana is found only on the Galapagos Islands,
and has the ability, unique among modern lizards, to live
and forage in the sea, making it a marine reptile. The
iguana can dive over 9 m into the water.




These birds are called blue-footed boobies.
