No, I'm not talking about the latest version of the USA Basketball Dream Team and their upcoming quest for Olympic gold. Sure, I wish them well. I'll be watching, no doubt. But I'm talking about the five men who are, or who will one day be, the fathers of my grandchildren -- my two sons, my two sons-in-law and a young man who, unless I miss my guess, appears destined to be my future son-in-law. These are five terrific young men, and I love each one of them for the goodness of their souls. They all deserve my full and undivided attention -- especially today. But today is a big day for all of them simultaneously, and so my thoughts and prayers and positive thoughts are being sent out in five different directions. And I've got to tell you, I'm feeling fragmented. This is spiritual and metaphysical multi-tasking of the first order. And since I have a hard time walking and chewing gum at the same time, this is a real stretch for me. On the one hand, I'm wanting to focus on Joe Jr., who today stands at the furthest edge of his life-long dream of one day being a lawyer. Fresh out of law school, today he is taking his state's bar exam. If he passes, the dream is fulfilled and he is a full-fledged lawyer. If not... well, he still has that degree. But he isn't a lawyer. Not really. Not yet. On the other hand, I'm thinking of Jon, my youngest child, who at this very moment may be standing in front of an "American Idol" producer, singing his 16-year-old heart out. It will be the biggest 10 seconds of his life so far, and I can only support him in this dream from here, with my hopes and prayers. On the other hand, my son-in-law Adam is also awaiting his turn in front of the "American Idol" producers. Adam is a little further along in his aesthetic journey than Jon is, and a shot on this show could help propel him toward is ultimate dream: Broadway. So I can't help but pull for him, and hope the producers see all of the talent and potential that I see in this great young man. On the other hand, every day is a big day for my son-in-law Brock, who is stationed with his Army unit in Baghdad. Brock is a soldier with the soul of a poet, and he has a duffle bag full of dreams for his future, all of which are on hold until he completes this, his third tour of duty in Iraq. For today he shares a dream with every soldier from every nation on every front line of armed conflict. It's a simple dream: survival. May it be his. Especially today. And on the other hand, I'm also concerned about Hudson, who is doing volunteer service for his church in Russia. Hudson has already faced numerous threats and challenges from those who don't think well of Americans in Russia, and evidently things are getting worse. Hudson is someone else's son, but he's dear to my daughter, Beth, and therefore dear to me. And I want him to be well and safe -- today and always. Let's see... that's one hand and four "other hands." Way more than I can "handle," if you'll pardon the expression. So I offer my positive thoughts and encouragement, and commend them all to God, and trust that He will look after them wherever they are. Because I can't. It's a helpless feeling, isn't it? Whether you're a parent or a sibling or a sweetheart or a friend, it's hard to know that people who are dear to you are facing difficult or important moments in their lives, and there isn't anything you can do to help them. And so we offer encouragement and we send out our positive thoughts, in hopes that it makes a difference. And we leave the rest to God. Who, it turns out, sort of specializes in dream fulfillment. -- Joseph Walker ____________________________________________ Joe is from Utah and is a Heartwarmer Gem. ========================================================== >-->From Our Friend Bunni :) _....._ .' `'-. / (- J-E-S-U-S ->< '._ _,.-' \ jgs ````` >SCRIPTURES We will always experience regret when we live for the moment and do not wiegh our words and deeds before we give them life. It will give you time settle your brain, gather your thoughts, calm down and finish your week off on a positive note. A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him some chips. He gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. His smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer. Again, he smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man, and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever. When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? He's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!" Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home. His son was stunned by the look of peace on his face and he asked, "Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before his son responded, he added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected." Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally. Have lunch with God.......bring chips. Send this to people who have touched your life in a special way. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun. --Ecclesiastes 8:15 Paul Tournier, a well-known Christian psychiatrist, gives insight to the subject of happiness in his book, The Seasons of Life. He says: "True happiness is always linked with deep, inner harmony. It therefore always implies an acceptance of one's age; the acceptance of no longer being a child when one has reached the age of adulthood, and the giving up of the goals of active life when one is advanced in years. This is the age of retirement, which for some [people] can be a meaningful experience, while for others it is a cruel trial. ... Those who complain about their retirement are usually the same ones as those who used to complain about their work and longed to be set free from it!" There's no room after retirement for a bitter, complaining spirit. So, why does it seem so many people are unhappy? Experts reported not long ago that only 20 percent of Americans are happy. The relentless message from society is that we must buy certain things or go specific places to experience happiness. If happiness is not a permanent condition in us, then there must be problems in our lives. But, most people don't experience a lifelong state of happiness. Happiness is a choice...even if only a few moments each day. Think about the last few days...maybe you had an unexpected visitor drop by, a letter came from an old friend, or someone may have complimented you. Moments like those are the ones that make the seemingly "bad day" disappear in a flash. Tomorrow, stop and notice the sunset, listen to the birds outside your window sing sweet songs, or drink up the peaceful serenity of a rain shower. Then, you will see the happiness that God desires for you to experience. When I was a little guy, my mother used to drag me with her to the beauty parlor where she got her hair done. I'm not sure what chemicals they used back then, but I obviously must have done something horrendous for my mother to subject her precious little boy to this nasal torture. And I wasn't sure what was going on when they put this hood-like machine on my mother's head. For all I knew, it was some kind of mechanical brain-sucker. I mean, I didn't know what was going on. Anyway, Mom used to come away with what they called a "permanent." Now, today, the chemicals don't reek like they did back then, and they've abbreviated the name of all that curly hair to "perm" - short for permanent, which they're not. They weren't when it stunk getting it done; they're not today when the process is much nicer. Let's get real here, perms should be called temps. They don't last. I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "One Permanent in a World of Temporary." Actually, it's pretty hard to think of anything in our world that's truly permanent. Our wedding vows promise we'll be together "'til death do us part." But for more and more couples, that marriage doesn't last anywhere near that long. And if it does, it still isn't permanent. Because death "do us part." Death took my Mom, my Dad, my brother, many friends, coworkers, young people we've worked with, contemporaries of mine - they were "temps," not "perms." We've all lived long enough to know that there are so many ways we can lose a love that we were counting on, through death or divorce, a breakup or a conflict. Either we change or they change. We leave or they leave. And once again, another life- anchor is gone. But there's something deep inside us that tells us that we're made for something more than this - for a relationship, and a love that we cannot lose. Many of us have lost a lot trying to find that love; we've given things we can't get back, we've made mistakes that have left scars, all for love. That voice inside you - that need inside you - that longs for one relationship you cannot lose doesn't have to keep looking, doesn't have to keep losing. There is a love you were made for. There's a Person who can fill the hole in your heart. He's the one the Bible says "you were made by and made for." (Colossians 1:16) It's Jesus, God's one and only Son. Here's what the Bible says about the love that He offers you: "Nothing in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39). Now, there it is. That's love you can't lose; love that will never lose you. And it's in "Christ Jesus our Lord" the Bible says. Why? Because we're living away from that love. Not by God's choice, but by ours. Actually, by thousands of choices in our life where we have chosen to do things our way instead of God's way. There's a name for it. It's called sin. And sin makes me "god" because it says, "I'm doing this, God, no matter what You say." According to the Bible, it's punishable by eternal separation from God - a horrific spiritual death penalty. Which Jesus paid for you when He absorbed all our sin and all our hell when He died on the cross. And then He came back from His grave to prove that He could deliver eternal life. So it's Jesus. He is the love you've been looking for. He's the relationship you tried to find in so many relationships that turned out to not be the answer. And Romans 10:11, our word for today from the Word of God, promises that "anyone who believes in Him will not be disappointed." He will not let you down. Your relation- ship with Him begins when you surrender the steering wheel of your life to the One who should have been driving it all along... when you tell Him, "You're my only hope, Jesus. Because You're the only One who died so I could get rid of the wall between me and God." Now, if that's what you want, I want invite you to check out our website as soon as you can today. We've set it up to actually help you get started with Jesus. It's helped a lot of other folks who were ready to experience His love and I think it would help you. Just go to www.yoursforlife.net. That's www.yoursforlife.net. Or call and ask for my booklet about it. It's called "Yours For Life." The number is 877-741-1200. See, this is a love you were made for. This is a love where you'll finally be safe. -- Ron Hutchcraft Received from: A Word With You -<>- .-""-._ / ___/ \ _&_ _.--""|/ `\| // \\ .' Eric Harvey says, ‘Think about somebody you know who’s of good character, and reflect on the characteristics that make them a role model… Chances are that high on the list is commitment – an unwavering dedication to being a good family member and friend – to doing their best on and off the job… to doing what’s right, noble and decent. Committed people… have their heads and hearts in the right place. They keep their priorities straight… stay focused on what’s important… What they believe drives how they behave, and how they behave determines their character… their reputation… and the legacy they leave.’ Abraham Lincoln observed, ‘Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It’s the words that speak boldly of your intentions, and the actions which speak louder than the words. It’s making time when there is none… it’s coming through time after time, year after year. Commitment is the stuff character’s made of… the power to change the face of things… the daily triumph of integrity over scepticism.’ An admirer approached the world–renowned pianist Van Cliburn after one of his concerts and said, ‘I’d give my life to be able to play like you.’ Smiling, Cliburn replied, ‘I did!’ SoulFood Reading: Ezek 20–21, Luke 19:28–40, Ps 111, Pro 19:18–20 as seen in The Word For Today -<>- To SUBSCRIBE: Send an e-mail with SUBSCRIBE CUP O'CHEER in the subject line to cheer316@sc.rr.com. ========================================================= >-->From Archives InspiredBuffalo: .-"""-. #. == \ ### _ _# (_""(a)=(a) \ _\ | '. = / __/`---;_ jgs /` \___| `\ >Benny: The Man on the Bus This is a parable about leadership. A teacher assigned her 12th graders an essay about a leader they admired. Most kids wrote about famous people, but one student turned in this: Benny: The Man on the Bus I've been taking a public bus to school for years. Most passengers go to work and never talk to anyone else. About a year ago, an elderly man got on the bus and said loudly to the driver, "Good morning!" Most people looked up annoyed, and the bus driver just grunted. The next day the man got on at the same stop and again said loudly, "Good morning!" to the driver. On the fifth day, the driver greeted the man first with a cheerful "Good morning!" and Benny replied loudly, "My name's Benny. What's yours?" The driver said his name was Ralph. That was the first time any of us had heard the driver's name. Soon all the passengers began talking to each other and saying hello to Ralph and Benny. After a month, Benny extended his cheerful greeting to the whole bus. Within a few days, his "Good morning!" was returned by a whole bunch of "Good mornings." The entire bus seemed friendlier. If a leader is someone who makes something happen, Benny was our leader in friendliness. A month ago, Benny didn't get on the bus. Some of us thought he had died. No one knew what to do. The bus got quiet again. So I started to act like Benny by saying "Good morning!" to everyone, and they cheered up again. I guess I'm now the leader. This is Michael Josephson reminding you that character counts. -<>- .-. ((`-' \\ \\ .="""=._)) ; '=.`"'" '==" after/jgs >Out Of The Corner Of My Eye I love to watch animals play. I get so much enjoyment from our three dogs playing tag, swimming in their little kid's pool, chasing butterflies, things like that. We have two large bird feeders, and mornings I sit on my porch and watch different species eat their morning breakfast. We also have cows in the big field across from us, and I laugh when I see a little calf follow its mother when she walks around. Everywhere we look, there is something to smile about when watching animals. Unless... We have a large porch on our house. There are large pine trees all around the back of our place. Tonight hubby and I were eating our supper on the porch on our picnic table. A daily ritual is to watch our rooster eyeball two different branches of pine trees, trying to decide which one he wants to use to fly up into the tree. He always flies before the sun goes down. I am told they have poor eyesight when it starts to gets dusk. So each day this time of the year, the rooster flies into the tree around 6:15. We were eating when we saw him do his prancing and dancing to decide which branch to get on. He flew up, let out his cock-a-doodle-doo to let the whole neighborhood know he's going to get ready for bed. Suddenly the rooster flew down to the ground. Something we've never seen him do before. He began this running around, acting nothing like he does any other time. We are in the drought area, and it had rained for 15 minutes so my husband said he was probably going to try and find some worms. I didn't think that was it, because the sky was darker and the rooster never waits that long to fly in the tree. I was watching him when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a movement. It came from the three-foot bathroom window which has a jealousy type window. Each year for fifteen years since we've lived here, two birds come in spring and build nests on both sides of the window. We've watched them as they set on their eggs, hatch the eggs and then tend to their babies until they get flying lessons telling them it's time to spread their wings and fly. This year was no different. One bird hatched her eggs already, and they have left the nest. But the second bird had four babies in the nest, and just yesterday I watched in the window as she fed them. They are just getting their little feathers now. When my eye caught movement, I thought it was the mother bird at first. I didn't say anything to my husband, since his back was to the window. I turned my head and saw something stick out from the window ledge. It didn't look right. I then told hubby that something was by the bird nest, and it was too large to be the mama bird. He turned and said, "It's just the knob to crank the window." He turned back to his plate, I looked at the window and again, something moved that was too large for a bird. I told him it was NOT the window handle, that something was moving. He turned again, then he saw movement. He got up from the table, walked to the end of the porch, closer to the window as I was getting up from the table. "You're not going to like this," he said. I got closer and said, "It's a mouse." "Not a mouse," he said. "Oh no, it's a stinking bat," I said. "It's not a bat either," he said. Right then it moved, and I saw it stick its head out. A baby bird was in its mouth. "SNAKE!" I screamed. "Oh my, there's a snake in our window," I yelled. My husband ran to get the ladder. My son came running when I called him, with a machete knife he keeps in the house for situations like this, he told me. My daughter-in-law wanted to help any way she could. And I stood frozen, watching that snake try and eat that little bird. It made me sick. My husband got a rake, a shovel, a flashlight, and told me to stand back. Standing back was not a problem. He reached up with the rake and tried to make the snake drop the bird. It did. But when it dropped it, a live baby fell out of the nest. My daughter-in-law scooped that little thing up and held it in her hand. I told her there were four babies yesterday in the nest. Today, there was only two when we saw the snake. The snake became vicious when the bird dropped from its mouth. It struck out at my husband. I was yelling, "Get off the ladder, let me call animal control," and he's yelling back," I'll get that sucker and kill it." "Go get your gun," I said. "WHAT?" he asked. "I'd blow a hole through the window if I tried to shoot at the snake," he said. "No, shoot it when you get it down off the window ledge," I said. My son informed me that he was going to chop it in half with his knife when it dropped from the window. The snake fought. It was coiled, it struck. It was gnarled up, it struck. My husband was trying to knock it down. I have a large pair of clippers I use to take down weeds and good size limbs. I grabbed those and said, "Here, cut that sucker in half." My husband looked at me like I was nuts and said, "The handles are too short." I knew that, but well you know, men like to show we women how tough they are, and I thought that would be wonderful if he could cut him in half. If it were me on that ladder, I'd want something with a ten foot handle. My clippers only have about an eighteen-inch handle. I ran inside the house and ran to the bathroom window to see the snake crawling up my window. I saw the rake touch him, and I saw him strike again at my husband. I ran back out on the porch and told him again to get his gun. His gun is a replica of an old Colt 44. It has to be loaded with powder and the little balls. He said by the time he got the gun loaded, the snake could get off and we'd not know where it went. "I'm calling animal control," I said. "No you're not," he said, "I'm going to get this stinking snake." There we were, I standing on the porch, watching, taking pictures with my digital camera. My neighbor, who is 80, was standing by me saying, "I hate snakes." My son had his knife ready, and my daughter-in-law was holding the only remaining little bird, and there hubby was on the ladder, with the rake trying to get the snake tangled up in it to get him down. He grabbed the snake, and it started to crawl through the rake "teeth" and I screamed, "Drop it." It struck fast, several times. I saw the tail. We all did. It didn't have any rattles. Suddenly hubby hooked it and it's head got caught, and he slung it down to the ground. Quicker than you could blink an eye, faster than a machete can be swung, that snake slithered through the little opening where our air conditioner hose comes out from under the house. "Oh, that's wonderful, " I said. "Now I'll be up all night, what if it gets in the duct work and comes into the house through a vent." "It won't come near the vent, it's too cold, they won't go where it's cold," hubby said. A few minutes ago, my friend down the road called. "How was your weekend," she said. I replied, "Why don't you ask me what have my last four hours been like." I then told her what happened. Our news has been warning us in this drought, snakes are looking for water, and there have been several incidences of them getting into homes. Just this past weekend, a man where I work was bitten by a copperhead. Within minutes, he became violently ill. Instead of getting someone to get him a park ranger, he picked up his cell phone and called his wife. "I just got bit by a snake at the park," he said. "Do you think I need to go to the hospital?" Precious seconds lost in that phone call. Instead of sending someone to the office, which was not that far, he walked, causing the venom to move in his blood stream quicker. He collapsed right near me on a picnic table. I saw the ambulance folks remove his shoes. By this time, the man was getting delirious and did not know his name. They got him in the ambulance quickly and sped away to the hospital. I am a nervous wreck tonight, knowing that snake went under my house. I went around and was closing vents when my husband asked what I was doing. I just looked at him, and he replied, "We'll bake in this heat if you close the vents off." "So we'll bake," I said. "I can't sleep with that thing under the house," I told him. I have no idea if I'll sit up all night or not. Maybe I'll play pogo until my eyes droop. I just know I feel very uncomfortable tonight. We think the rooster saw the snake in the tree, and that's why he came back down after he'd gone up for the evening. We think the snake crawled out on a long limb, got onto our roof and crawled over to the window near the bathroom. Perhaps he saw the baby birds in the nest. Tonight, I'm watching out of the corner of my eye for any movement in my house. Note: From our description, neighbors said the snake was probably a water moccasin... very poisonous... It happened when he was nine years old. It was winter. Young Frank was walking across a snow-covered field with his uncle. As the two of them reached the far end of the field, his uncle stopped him. He pointed out his own tracks in the snow, straight and true as an arrow's flight, and then young Frank's tracks meandering all over the field. "Notice how your tracks wander aimlessly from the fence to the cattle to the woods and back again," his uncle said. "And see how my tracks aim directly to my goal. There is an important lesson in that." Years later the world-famous architect liked to tell how this experience had greatly contributed to his life's philosophy. "I determined right then," he'd say with a twinkle in his eye, "not to miss most things in life, as my uncle had." He determined to be alive and present. To be fully aware and squeeze as much life out of each moment as possible. We will miss most things in life if we live in the past. Let us learn from the past, but not live there. We will miss most things in life if we live in the future. Let us plan for the future, but not live there. We will miss little if we live in the present. And we'll have more fun along the way! We had been married 11 years and our son Steven was almost 3 months old. Jill and I were very happy with Steve, and she was on maternity leave from her reference librarian job. One day I came home and found Jill dead on the floor. The autopsy showed that she most likely died of heart arrhythmia. There were no signs of struggle or pain; she was dead before she hit the floor. The next weeks were very difficult. I was on medication for suicidal fantasies and depression. But the outpouring of love from hundreds of people helped me get through the days. And I always managed to give Steve a smile, even when tears were pouring behind it. One of the best gifts I received was an e-mail message from Paul, one of my best college friends. Printed and framed, it sits on my desk and I read it often. Here's most of it: I haven't been able to get up there and see you in far too long. It's like I'm stuck in this rut between work and home, only allowed out occasionally to go and see family. So many friends, lost track of over the years -- and fading away over time, maybe forever.... E-mail keeps a slim lifeline with some friends, but too few. Then things happen that make you sit down and think 'What type of person am I really? What kind of a friend?' Maybe it's just fear. How many of us can truly face the things you've had to and still look life square in the eye? I know what you've had to go through is only my worst nightmare. But could I face it? Yes, I suppose I could with the love of a small child in the balance. But where do you find the strength? I'll tell you... Look to those friends. Even just reaching out to re-establish friendships brings back life to my soul -- even after all these years. So when life looks the bleakest, look to us, your friends, and we will be there to help you, guide you if you need us. Give you support when times grow dark, and shine with the light that only friendship can bring. Feel that light when I say: Call on me should you need me, and I will be there, as your friend. In the two years since I got that message, I've taken it to heart and relied on my friends for a lot. Steve is now two and a half, and counts, calls out letters, plays and laughs. He's generally happy. I'm doing well. Therapy, antidepressants and support from friends all help. I wish I could say I've seen more of Paul, but I haven't. However, I do hope to rekindle that friendship. I still cry whenever I read the message; but it's a good reason to cry. =======HeroicStories======= >-->From Kidwarmers: <> .-"""-. ||::::::========== /= ___ \ ||::::::========== |- /~~~\ | ||::::::========== |=( '.' ) | ||================ \__\_=_/__/ ||================ {_______} ||================ /` * `'--._|| /= . Several days before they went, Jane gave a $10 bill to each of the kids (Gregory, 10, Alex, 7, and Matthew 3) to take to the beach. At bedtime Matthew told his father that he wanted to sleep with the $10. His dad put the money in a plastic bag and wrote Matthew's name on it in black marker. In the morning, the money was gone and so was the name from the plastic bag. The $10 bill was in the pocket of Matthew's pajamas and his hands were black from the marker. To wear all of the marker from the bag, he must have taken that money out and then put it back several times before he finally succumbed to the temptation to sleep with it. When Greg asked how he was going to spend the $10, Matthew looked at his father as if the man had lost his mind and replied, "I'm not going to spend it! Grammy said it was to take to the beach. Bonnie is deaf so she has been teaching her granddaughter sign as well as speech and they sit with the rest of the deaf congregation. Bonnie's granddaughter's sign "Amen" was perfect but voiced was so different that the pastor, his wife and granddaughter started sitting behind them so they could hear her say loudly and clearly, "Men!" after the closing prayer. -- Bonnie Henson of southeast Missouri Sandi was talking on the phone to her daughter, the mother of Max, 5. His mother was perplexed until Max pointed out his mother's alarm clock on the table beside her bed. Alex, 13, was helping his mother do some chores. Sandi had made a list of things to be done, and designated which ones he would do and which she would complete. Alex noted one item he did not wish to do, so he tried negotiating with Sandi to trade some tasks. He saw that sweeping and mopping the tile was on Sandi's list, so he offered to do the sweeping part and Sandi would only have to mop. Sandi does not like mopping, so she suggested, "How about the other way around?" meaning she would sweep and he would mop. Scott Graham: "I am very privileged to have my wife and daughter with me. My daughter helps keep me grounded -- sometimes she gets grounded! You know the Bible kinda cautions us about thinking of yourself more highly than you ought. That's what kids are for! When she was in kindergarten, on Easter Sunday morning ... I came out of the pastor's office to head down to behind the platform to where all the platform participants were going to be gathering... My darling little girl was all frou-froued up for Easter. She had the curls and the frilly dress and the whole thing, you know? So I just stopped and made over her a little bit and she said to me (she had started kindergarten and all, you know), she said, "Daddy, I can spell your first name!' I said, "Well, that's wonderful, Sweetheart, let me hear you do that!' She got it! S-C-O-T-T. I said, "Awww Sweetheart that's so good!' She said, "Well, it's on the screen up there.' I looked and it was just like that. And I said, "Ah, you cheated!' She said, "Awh, Daddy! I've seen your name LOTS of places!' I felt pretty good about that! I was thinkin' Youth Congress flyers, General Conference programs, Camp Meeting slots! And I asked, "Darlin', where have you seen Daddy's name?' She said, "TOILET PAPER HOLDERS!' There you have it!
