>-------> 1957 ALMOND RINGS <-------< 1 1/2 Cups butter 3 eggs separated 1 1/3 Cups sugar 4 Cups sifted flour 1 1/2 Cups finely chopped almonds 3/4 tsp. cinnamon In a large bowl cream together butter and 1 Cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks. Beat well. Add flour and blend together thorougly. Chill 1 hour. In a separate bowl: Combine 1/3 Cup sugar, almonds and cinnamon. Break off small amounts of the dough and shape into rings, bars, cresents or balls. Dip into slightly beaten egg whites, and then into the nut mixture. Place on ungreased cooky sheets.
