>---------> CORN AND PEPPER FRITTERS From Mary TenBrink <---------< Ingredients: 2 cups Cut, Cooked Corn 2 Eggs, beaten 2 TBLS Sugar 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/4 cup chopped Green Peppers 1 1/2 cup Flour 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk or 1/4 cup Milk & 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1 cup Sour Cream Preparation: Combine corn, sugar, salt and mix. Add cream, eggs and green peppers. Mix flour and baking powder and add to corn mixture, beat well and drop by Tablespoons into hot oil. Cook slowly until puffed and browned. * Note: Serve hot with tomato sauce or alone with butter or anyway you choose. I serve with butter.
