>---> Easy Oven Baked CHICKEN <---< INGREDIENTS: 3 raw boneless, skinless Chicken breasts 2 eggs 1 stick butter or Oleo 1 package original Townhouse Crackers Onion Powder Ground Thyme Italian Seasoning Garlic Powder Black Pepper * 2 small cans Campbell's condensed cream of chicken soup DIRECTIONS: Use a rolling pin and crush the crackers until fine Place in a medium to large bowl. Add a couple shakes of each of the onion powder, ground thyme and Italian seasoning. Add a little less garlic powder and black pepper. Mix well. Crack eggs in a medium bowl. Whisk briskly with a fork or a whisk. Trim excess fat or skin off of each chicken breast. Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise. Use a fork and dip each chicken half covering it first in the egg and them coating it in the cracker crumbs. Place the 6 pieces of chicken in a large shallow pan leaving room so the chicken does not touch each other or the sides of the pan. Cut the butter or oleo into slices and place the pats around each of the chicken halves. Bake in 375-degree oven for 30-40 minutes until the chicken is a light golden brown. Yield: 6 Servings. This recipe makes delicious savory, buttery tender chicken. It goes well with mashed potatoes and gravy. * NOTE: For Easy Chicken Gravy... Use 2 cans of campbell's condensed cream of chicken soup. Add almost two full cans of warm water, a little oinion powder and a little black pepper. Stir well. If too thick, add a little more water. Heat to boiling in microwave or on stove top. Yield: two cans works well for mashed potatoes and 6 pieces of chicken - use only one can if no mashed pototoes. ENJOY!! ... :) Shangy!! ~*~ Copyright © 1997-2015 Elrhea M. Bigham ~*~
