>---------> FRIED CABBAGE By Norma <---------< Ingredients: 1 - Pound Bacon - Cut up in pieces 1 - Large head cabbage 1/2 to 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar - amount to suit you. (Really depends on how tart you want it. Need to taste it, then add more if needed. You can adjust the vinegar amount, throughout the stirring and cooking process). Preparation: Slice the head of cabbage up in strips (size to suit you). Don't have to be perfect, just needs to be cut. In a large DEEP skillet, Fry cut up bacon, until crisp. Drain. Add the cut up cabbage, stir to mix together well, then add the apple cider vinegar. Stir well with the bacon and cabbage. Put lid on skillet. Stir often as cabbage cooks down. Always put lid back on skillet, each time you remove it to stir the cabbage. Once all the cabbage is wilted, it is done. You will be able to judge, when it is done.
