>------------> MeatLoaf <------------< 1 lb ground chuck hamburger 1 Egg 12 single saltine crackers 1 Tblsp yellow Mustard 1 Tblsp Heinz Catsup Ground thyme Onion Powder Pepper Use a rolling pin and crush up the crackers into tiny pieces - the smaller the better. In a med-large mixing bowl: Dump the hamburger, crackers, egg, mustard, and catsup. Shake to cover the top of the mixture with the thyme. Shake to cover the top of the mixture with the onion Powder. Add about 3 shakes of pepper. Use a fork to first combine the mess, then dig in and combine completely with your hand. (Keep mixing till the crackers are completely mixed in.) Scoop the whole mixture out onto a shallow baking pan. Firmly shape into a loaf or football type shape. Squirt Catsup on top of loaf and spread it out evenly over all sides and top with your fingers. *Bake on 350 for 1 hour or until well done. * Note: No need to preheat the oven. It will take the same amount of time either way. (You just waste money with preheating.)
