>------------> P I Z Z A <------------< 1 pkg dry active yeast 1 cup warm water 1 tsp salt 1 Tblsp sugar 1 can reg. Contadina pizza sauce 6 cups shredded mozzarella pizza cheese 1 lb. of yellow colby cheese - cut into slices. 4 hotdogs 1 lb ground chuck hamburger Ground thyme Onion Powder Crisco butter yellow or white grease -options- 1 can mushrooms 1/2 roll sausage Pepperoni slices 1/2 a Green pepper cleaned and cut into pieces. ->The Dough: In medium mixing bowl. Dissolve yeast in water add salt and sugar. ADD 2 1/4 cups all purpose white flour (or whatever to make it just able to handle without being too sticky) MIX WELL - PLAY BALL - till smooth and elastic-like Let dough raise to double (place its bowl in sink with very warm (not hot) water and cover with lid or clean wet cloth (1 hour) While dough is raising - In a med. skillet cook: 4 sliced hot dogs, hamburger, with option-mushrooms/sausage/and or green pepper. Season with onion powder and ground thyme. Drain well. ->When the Dough is ready: In Well greased large rectangle pan gently spread the dough and make it cover up all the sides for a deep dish crust. Dump the can of sauce on the dough. Use spoon to spread it out evenly. Sprinkle top with about 2 cups mozzarella pizza cheese. Use about 1/4 skillet mix and scatter over cheese. If you have pepperoni slices put them around where you want them. Cover the top with the sliced colby cheese. Dump the rest of meat mix from skillet on top of the yellow cheese and spread it out evenly. Dump the rest of the mozzarella pizza cheese on top of it and spread it out till mostly even. Place the pan on a cookie sheet in Oven to cook. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 mins. or until cheese is nicely browned.
