>------------> BASIC WHITE SAUCE <------------< 1/2 stick oleo 1/2 cup flour 2 1/2 cups milk In medium size sauce pan melt oleo. Remove from heat. Add the flour. Use a fork to stir. Mix until no white remains. Add the milk and Cook on high. Use an electric mixer on low and a fork to stir as it cooks. Constantly mix and stir until the sauce has thickened to the desired consistency. Remove from heat.
