Charlie Kirk, (October 14, 1993 - September 10, 2025),
was America's God, family and country debater.
He was an American conservative political activist, author, and media personality.
Along with William Montgomery, Kirk started Turning Point USA in 2012 to engage
young people in the conservative movement and was its executive director.
He took great pleasure in visiting college campuses and engaging in open public
debate often with signs saying 'Ask Me Anything' or 'Prove Me Wrong'.
His goal was to share his love of Jesus Christ and his conservative ideas with others in a friendly open format. He was not happy with the direction the campuses had taken lately with people being upset with others who just had a difference of opinion so he set out to change that. He believed in free speech. Charlie Kirk was self-taught and decided not to go to college but he could easily hold and most always win a debate with his college educated counter-parts. He never had to use notes, books or any papers. He did not smoke, drink or do drugs. Rather he spent his time reading and studying two hours every day, going to church, enjoying time with his family and his passion for stimulating friendly discussions and debate. He was truly a great inspiration to today's youth. Charlie Kirk will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Many say the person who assassinated him didn't realize what he did - He opened a hornets nest that will continue Charlie's legacy for years to come - He made him a martyr. |
