      The Watercube from the 2008 Beijing Olympics turned into an Incredible Waterpark. Beijing's famous Water Cube, or National Aquatics Center, the place where two dozen world records were set during the 2008 Summer Olympics (and where swimming sensation Michael Phelps landed eight gold medals) has been converted into a water park ... or at least half of it has.

      Man Punches Hole Through a Monet Painting, Valued at $10 Million! Andrew Shannon, the man who punched a hole through a Claude Monet painting, in June 2012, was sentenced to five years in prison. The attack took place at the National Gallery of Ireland, in Dublin, where Shannon attacked the Monet painting, entitled Argenteuil Basin with a Single Sailboat (1874), and then shouted at the group of shocked gallery visitors who had witnessed the scene. The security guard who restrained Shannon shortly after found a can of paint stripper on the vandal.

      An Actual Image of the Malaysian Village, Jeram Perdas, After Severe Flooding! An aerial view on Nov. 8 2009 of a piece of land with cows and vehicles surrounded by floodwaters at the village of Jeram Perdas in Rantau Panjang, northern Malaysia. Hundreds of villagers were evacuated due to monsoon floods.

      Can You Find the Invisible Man in This Picture? Good Luck! This guy becomes like a chameleon by painting himself. No kidding. No trick photography. He paints himself and becomes almost invisible!

      The Electrical Pylon Giants of Iceland - These Human Shaped Pylons Were Never Built but still are shown on the internet today as being real. They were just a concept design that Landsnet did not see fit to move forward with. However, the Land of Giants concept lingered, and in 2010 was awarded the Best Unbuilt Award by the Boston Society of Architects, in recognition of what is a rather interesting idea.

      The Stunning Landscapes of Palyul, Tibet. 'Palyul Monastery' in Tibetan means 'auspicious land', the buildings of the monasteries cover the whole side of the mountain, with palaces and Sanghas' huts for mediation in tight rows, creating a grand and imposing view.

      WWII Soldiers Placing Family Photos on Their Pistols, Sweetheart Grip Handles. During WWII, soldiers were known to take precious family photos (and Pinup Girl photos) and put them under clear grips on their 1911 pistols - called Sweetheart Grips.

      Professional Surfer, Ha'a Keaulana, Running with a 50lb (23kg) Boulder to Prepare for the Gigantic Hawaiian Waves. Hawaiian surfer Ha'a Keaulana was taught that running along the ocean floor with a 50-pound boulder could prevent her from drowning. Her father, Brian Keaulana, a renowned big-wave surfer, lifeguard, and Hollywood stunt coordinator, has often been credited with pioneering this training technique.

      The Starship, a former United Airlines Boeing 720 was refurbished in the early 1970s by Bobby Sherman and his manager, Ward Sylvester, as an airborne pleasure dome. The plane plied the skies in the service of, among others, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, The Allman Brothers, The Bee Gees, Elton John, Peter Frampton and Alice Cooper. It had a bedroom with a king-sized waterbed, a drawing room with a fake fireplace, a 30-foot brass-trimmed bar with built-in electric organ, a video system stocked with every movie one could imagine and two stewardesses to cater to the minstrels fresh from their Madison Square Garden gigs.
