| There is a feeling I get When I think of the depth of all of it. I am astounded and amazed At the realization that I'm saved. Saved from worries of this world That grip my stomach in terrible curls. Saved from the blackness of night Without any warming rays of sunlight. I have God to thank for this. And to His son, Jesus, I send a kiss Of gratitude filled with love, For saving me with power from above. Believing God raised Jesus from the dead was easy for me to trust. Next I had to simply say, 'Jesus is my Lord and Savior today.' Then I was saved, born again. Saved for eternity from death and sin. This knowledge fills me with awe, For I know from God's Love, I'll never fall. |
