GIANT CATFISH!


Welcome! Come on in. Meet Zeb Hogan and say hello to his captured catfish. Hogan leads the Megafishes Project which documents, studies, and protects the world's largest freshwater fish. Hogan, a National Geographic Emerging Explorer calls the giant fish "the real-life Loch Ness monsters and Bigfoots of the aquatic world."

Caught on November 13,2007 by Hogan and some fishers in Cambodia, this Mekong giant catfish is an amazing 8 feet long and weighs in at 450 pounds! Zeb Hogan (far right), collected data on the fish and released it unharmed.
