SHANGRALA'S UNDERSEA RESTAURANT!

The Ithaa, "eet-ha" meaning 'pearl', is a cool restaurant! It's the first
undersea restaurant in the world! Located at the Hilton Maldives Resort
& Spa, it sits 5 meters below the waves of the Indian Ocean, surrounded
by a coral reef. It's encased in clear acrylic giving diners 270 degrees of
panoramic underwater views. By using aquarium technology, they were
able to put diners face-to-face with the stunning underwater environment
of the Maldives. The Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa is the 2004 winner
of "Best Resort in the Indian Ocean" from the World Travel Awards.
