OCEAN EXPLORATION!

There are a lot of unexplored areas right here on our great planet earth! The ocean is largely unexplored. While man has walked on the moon, he has yet to fully explore this planet of water right here on earth.       The ocean floor is home to many unique communities of plants and animals. These photographs were taken as part of the NORFANZ voyage, a joint Australian-New Zealand research expedition conducted in May-June 2003 to explore deep sea habitats and biodiversity in the Tasman Sea.
