Could this be the world's fattest cat? Janet Ciminelli of North Shore Animal League of America in Long Island, New York, holds Garfield, a 40lb feline. The obese cat was brought into the animal rescue centre after his owner passed away. Staff have put him on a Diet and are looking for a new owner who is committed to helping him become healthy and active.       Keiley Tuck and her husband Lee found three abandoned baby hedgehogs in their garage in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. The couple were moving their old washing machine when they discovered the tiny animals curled up in dead leaves trying to keep warm. When their mother didn't return, the couple delivered the babies to Secret World Wildlife Rescue center.       A red squirrel carries its baby in its mouth as it bounds along a fence in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada       British event rider Laura Collett guides former racehorse Natterjack - painted with harmless liquid chalk - over the Stonehenge Fence on the Barbury Estate near Marlborough, Wiltshire. Nicholas started his run of correct predictions by guessing that Chelsea would beat Liverpool in the FA Cup Final at Wembley last month.

Ya Ya the dolphin jumps to predict a win for Poland in their match against Greece, at Nanjing Underwater World in Nanjing, China.       Yvonne the 'psychic cow' and son Orki run directly to the Portugal feeding trough at Gut Aiderbichl in Deggendorf Eichberg, Germany, predicting that Portugal will beat Germany at the Euro 2012 tournament.       Octopus Manolo, at the SeaLife Aquarium near Malaga, chooses a jar marked with Spain's national flag, during his prediction for the winner of the Euro 2012 match between Spain and Italy.       At the same aquarium, an otter named Maya also predicts a victory for Spain over Italy.       Elephants Shanti and Shahrukh eat a German flag made of fruit and vegetables at Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg, after picking Germany as the winner of their Euro 2012 match against Portugal.       Back of the net: Nelly the elephant has also, predicted that Germany would beat Portugal after kicking the ball into the Portuguese goal at Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, Germany.       Food for thought: Citta the elephant in Krakow, Poland reckons co-hosts will beat surprise 2004 winners Greece. He clearly knows who's feeding him!       Snowball effect: not to be outdone Ukraine have made up, sorry discovered, their own psychic animal in Funtik the "psychic pig" in Kiev.       The Owl And The Pussycat: Arnie the cat meets Huwi the Turkmenian eagle owlet at Linton Zoo, Cambridgeshire.       Two two-month-old lion cubs are seen in a quarantine room of the Kenya Wildlife Services headquarters in Nairobi. They were rescued by rangers who were forced to shoot the cubs' mother after she was spotted in a suburb of Nairobi.       Kiwi, a 64.57-pound sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle, is prepared for release back into the wild from the Loggerhead Marinelife Centre at Juno Beach, Florida.       Boo, is the World's Cutest Dog. Usually we follow the dogs of celebrities, but sometimes it's worth mentioning dogs who are celebrities. Enter Boo. Boo currently has over 5 million Facebook fans.
