Commonly mistaken for a tiger or lion, this unique cat known as the hybrid Liger is the world's largest cat, weighing in around 900 pounds. For many years, this hybrid creature was thought to have been a myth after the popularization of the hybrid by the movie, 'Napoleon Dynamite.' The Liger has actually been in existence since at least the 19th century.

A terribly giant oarfish washed up onto a shore populated with beach goers. This fish was so long that it had to be carried by 10 people at one time to hold it. You do not want an underwater rendezvous with a creature like this.
